If you've been following the Mustang USA narrative, you'll know that I !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and now a whole new Puppyknuckles crew has assembled in San Francisco. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , my girlfriend flew in from New York, and my cousin who lives in San Francisco made sure we would have a night we would never remember.
We woke up the next morning dehydrated, with headaches, and in a strange and dingy Airbnb apartment. As opposed to the largely scripted Route 66 experience, there suddenly were no guidebooks instructing us where to go or what was going to happen next. It was exciting.

When I lived in Menlo Park CA, my favorite thing to do on a day off was drive across the Golden Gate, and have some fun up North. I would often blast down Skaggs Springs Road from Fisherman Bay to Healdsburg. In all honesty, that might be the greatest road in this country. Lots of elevation changes, tons of great curves of all types, lots of AMAZING scenery, and almost NO traffic ever! It was brilliant. Fucking spectacular. Anyone that wants to talk about how great the Tail of the Dragon is NEEDS to drive Skaggs and reevaluate their life!

Again, great stuff man. Just the right balance of photos and words. Keep it up and if you end up heading through Truckee, CA let me know, got some road suggestions and photo locations I'll share.
